total prize purse of $1000

Crit race date: 10/31/15

Race length: 30 minutes

The blue Gray crit offers a challenging course that will elevate your heart rate from the time the gun goes off to the last lap. 30 minutes doesn’t sound like a long time until you experience the thrill of high speed corners and full speed attacks. This is a great event weekend to end the year with.

This years results were similar to last years with one exception. Ken Bestine completed the race without breaking his arm. Ken’s corner did claim one victim this year. The result was just some minor road rash. The race started with Scott Seiss jumping out to an early lead. 10 minutes into the race Bestine caught the leader. The two worked together for the remainder of the race. Seiss pulled away on the final two turns to earn the overall victory.

This is not your normal 1/2 marathon. Most of the course is on a scenic running path that offers natural views. Your morning will be spent burning calories and soaking in history with thoughts of the mayhem that occurred 150 years earlier on the very roads your traversing.
