Electronic shifting is showing up on many of the top racers handcycles around the world. The attraction of the latest advancement is its ability to shift flawlessly with absolutely no effort by using just your finger tip. If using the standard Di2 you shift the front and rear derailuers  independently. When using the XTR Di2 it has a brain that will shift to the next hardest or easiest gear even if it means shifting the chain rings too. This mode is called syncroshift. You can also choose a mode to shift independently.
