Swamp Classic -Canadians nearly “a fait le menage avec la competition”

The Swamp Classic sponsored by Top End is looked at by most as a warm up race that occurs too early to be a predictor of what’s to unfold as the season matures. Charles Moreau , Eric Page and Rene Camille all from north of the border would like to differ with that opinion. All three had great races and will build upon the good start to their season while others may tweak their training in order to close the gap. Charles also posted the fastest time overall in the TT.

World Champion Tim de Vries powered away from the field in the road race showing why he is a World Champion and that his success has not lessened his enthusiasm.

Top Ends renewed interest in the early season race was evident by the appearance of an attractive prize purse that was nonexistent the last few years. Another noteworthy mention is the unveiling of an early look at the newest version of the RX 20” ridden by Krige Schabort .

new RX features

-Shorter frame

-shaped smaller diameter tubing for fork

-relocated steering dampner

-modest weight between 26-28 lbs depending on configuration
